Dr. Subramanian RO1 grant
Dr. Jai Subramanian was awarded an NIH R01 grant as co-PI with Dr. Shirley Yan at Columbia University. The grant is titled “GLO1/Aβ-mediated mitochondrial and synaptic injury in Alzheimer's disease”. The research studies whether detoxifying advanced glycation end products improves synaptic plasticity and memory in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease.
