November Faculty Candidate Seminars
Two Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Faculty Candidate Seminars are scheduled in November.
R. Ryley Parrish, assistant professor, Department of Cell Biology and Physiology, Brigham Young University, will present “Mechanistic Dissection of Spreading Depolarizations during Ictal Discharges” on Nov. 6.
Alex Mabou Tagne, assistant project scientist, Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine will present "Metabolic Reprograming in the Spinal Cord Drives the Transition from Acute to Chronic Pain" on Nov. 13.
Both seminars will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Room 1020 of the Pharmacy Building, 1020 Becker Dr., Lawrence, KS 66047.
