Dr. Zhao appointed to NIH study section

Liqin Zhao (PhD) has been appointed a standing member of the NIH's Neural Oxidative Metabolism, Mitochondria, and Cell Death (NOMD) study section, with a four-year term from 2023 to 2027. The NOMD study section reviews applications studying the molecular mechanisms of neuronal cell death involving aging, neurodegenerative diseases, and mitochondrial biology of neurons and glia in healthy and diseased states across the life span.
