Heng Du receives R01 grant

Dr. Heng Du was awarded an NIH R01 grant in the amount of $2.93M to fund Alzheimer’s research. The project focuses on the role of ghrelin o-acyltransferase (GOAT) dysfunction in the development of hippocampal damage as well as systemic dysmetabolism in Alzheimer's disease.
