Research

My research interests encompass the role of neuropeptide and neurotransmitter circuits in the formation of social bonds and the connection between social behavior and stress. I will be using a socially monogamous rodent, the prairie vole, as a model to study the neurobiology and circuitry behind the formation and maintenance of social relationships, social buffering, and social loss.
