Research

I'm a post-baccalaureate research scholar interested in understanding the etiology of disorders of aggressive and externalizing behavior, whether genetic or environmental in nature. I am focused on identifying and broadening our understanding of two distinct neural circuit pathways that drive aggression in the socially monogamous prairie vole (Microtus ochrogaster). I'm particularly interested in discovering how these circuit integrate to regulate context-appropriate behavioral output of affiliation and aggression.
