- 2018-2019, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (completed four semesters) Basseterre, St. Kitts
- 2016, B.S., Biochemistry, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ
While attending ASU, I spent some time taking part in mycology research focused on identifying and characterizing distinct growth characteristics of various zygomycetous fungi. Through research funded by the NSF, these characteristics were examined and analyzed using basic and advanced light and electron microscopy methods. The time between ASU and Ross was spent working for a biotechnology company conducting research on algae as a production source for animal food additives. Specifically, quantifying lipid component contents of different species. I also spent a year as an Instructional Assistant teaching organic chemistry at Grand Canyon University.
The research I am involved with at KU utilizes behavioral analysis and neural imaging of mice to determine memory formation and retention.
